Come help plan one of the largest (and gayest) festivals in the city! Capital Pride is currently hiring two full time positions. Funded through Ontario’s Job Creation Partnerships, you’ll get the chance to work with our Executive Director over a 6 month contract to plan the 2026 Festival. If you are applying, you must have a strong connection and understanding of the local 2SLGBTQ+ community. If the posting is still up, we are still looking, so make sure to send in your resume.
We’re looking for someone who likes staying organized and coordinating lots of moving pieces. Someone who likes to be busy and pays attention to the details. In the role, you’ll work with artists and venues and support volunteers and production teams. If this sounds like something you’d love to do, you should apply for the Artist and Events Coordinator position.
We’re also looking for someone who loves administrative work, someone who likes being behind the scenes and likes dealing with contracts and emails. In the role, you’ll be sending invoices, helping with parade and street fair registration and much more. If this sounds like your cup of tea, then the Festival Administrator is the position for you.
