Ottawa, ON – Capital Pride is pleased to announce that it will host drag superstar Priyanka in Ottawa on Thursday, November 18 as part of her Taste Test Tour, promoting her new album Taste Test.
Capital Pride has taken on the event, with proceeds going to the organization. The show was cancelled by the original promoters, but will now go on, on the same date, with tickets available through capitalpride.ca, and at the original location, Bronson Centre Music Theatre.
“Capital Pride is pleased to be able to bring Priyanka to Ottawa and share this amazing show with our local community,” said Toby Whitfield, Executive Director of Capital Pride. “In line with our commitment to the local drag community, we are also excited to provide an opportunity for local drag performers to share the stage with this iconic performer.”

I’ve had the opportunity to see her perform, and Ottawa is in for a very special treat. We hope to do many more drag performances here and support the community and the local drag talent. It’s been a tough 2 years for all performers, and we look forward to adding to the vibrant local Ottawa scene”.

This newly announced show will go on sale on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 through www.capitalpride.ca. The tickets for the original show have been refunded through Eventbrite and a new ticket purchase is required for this show.
Priyanka is the winner of the first season of Canada’s Drag Race. In July, Priyanka released Taste Test and is now touring across North America and Europe.
