From Left to Right: Callie, Aiko, Carter, Constance, Noah, Emma

Callie (She/Her, Elle)

Callie Mather over to Gatineau in 2020 to attend Carleton University as a PhD student studying queer archival practice in Canada. She has been a member of the Capital Pride’s summer festival team since 2022, when she was the Operations and Logistics Coordinator, before becoming Operations Director is 2023, and finally Executive Director for the 2024 festival. Outside of Pride, Callie hangs out with her very cool wife and her four cats.

Carter (He/Him, Il)

Carter moved to Ottawa in 2022 to pursue his Master’s degree at Carleton University. He is new to the Capital Pride team, starting as the Festival Administrator in 2025. He is passionate about community building and dignity and respect for all and is excited to contribute to Capital Pride! When not organizing a great upcoming festival, Carter enjoys reading, playing volleyball, yoga, and spending time with his wonderful partner and two cats.

Aiko (They/Them, Iel)

Aiko is an Ottawa local, born-and-raised and has been working in the non-profit industry for over 5 years. Aiko has led many volunteer-based initiatives to benefit their community and places a strong emphasis on community building. Aiko is a student at Carleton University and has a passion for education, hoping to achieve their Master’s of Education one day. In their free-time, they are a fibre artist, and an avid reader. You can find Aiko walking their two hairless cats or at a local bookstore.

Constance (She/They, Elle/Iel)

Constance serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Capital Pride. Previously, they held the position of Team Lead at Capital Pride’s Volunteer HQ. Currently a student at Carleton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Global and International Studies, Constance’s commitment to community empowerment and social justice drives her work at Pride. With a blend of leadership, passion, and advocacy, they strive to create inclusive and impactful events that resonate with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and beyond.

Emma (She/Her, Elle)

Emma is the Communications Coordinator at Capital Pride, where she brings a strong passion for community engagement, equity, and inclusive storytelling. She is currently pursuing a degree in Social Communications at Université Saint-Paul and holds a diploma in Social Work from Collège La Cité. Emma’s educational background and lived experience have deeply influenced her commitment to social justice, particularly within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Her work is grounded in values of empathy, representation and advocacy, and she is driven by a desire to amplify underrepresented voices and foster connection through impactful communication. Outside of her role at Capital Pride, Emma is an enthousiastic supporter of women’s sports, an avid reader, and is always ready to hit the dance floor for a good country line dance.

Noah (He/They, Il/Yé)

Noah is an illustrator whose work explores queer intimacy, playfulness, and whimsy. Before joining Ottawa Capital Pride, he had the chance to work with The Folcrum as its Graphic Designer and Visuals Director, publishing numerous drawings featured in articles written by student journalists. He is now excited to join Capital Pride’s summer festival team as its Graphic Designer. When not doodling for Pride, Noah spends their rare free time arching video essays, making little drinks, and wanting to be like Spider-Man.
