Jessy Lindsay is a queer, bilingual indie-pop songstress. Her use of catchy, jazz-infused melodies and honest lyrics will rope you into her world. Once there, she will, in both English and French, whole-heartedly offer you her perspective on womanhood, self-confidence and reclamation of joy within patriarchal society. Freshly graduated from the University of Ottawa, Jessy has already been putting her bachelor’s degree in classical voice and contemporary composition to use. She has recently been sound designing for live theatre as well as composing classical contemporary music for voice, instrument ensembles and choirs.This powerhouse emerging artist has already established herself as a force to be reckoned within the Ottawa music industry, boasting recent performances at the Festival franco-ontarien and the NAC Fourth Stage.
