Edith Puthie (they/them) is a comedic, proud POC, body positivity, queer, non-binary drag artist, performing on the stolen and unceded land of the Anishinaabe Algonquin people. Their drag is political, thought provoking, camp, comedic with a splash of fabulous! As a non-binary drag performer of colour, this individual occupies a unique space within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Their performances challenge traditional gender norms and binaries, creating a more inclusive and accepting space for all members of the queer community. Through their art, this performer helps to break down barriers and promote greater understanding and acceptance of gender diversity. They also serve as a role model and source of inspiration for other non-binary individuals, particularly those of colour, who may feel marginalized or excluded within the wider 2SLGBTQ+ community. By participating and contributing to the vibrant drag scene, this performer also helps to foster a sense of community and belonging for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals, providing a safe and supportive environment where everyone can express themselves freely and authentically.
