More info
The Pride Parade returns with the community coming together loudly and proudly. Over 100 groups, more than 5,000 marchers plus this year’s Grand Marshal and Honoured Group who will lead the parade.
Parade Route
Our parade route has changed! The parade will now end at Bank Street and Gladstone Avenue. Please note the following route details:
- Start of Parade: Elgin Street & Laurier Avenue
- New End of Parade: Bank Street & Gladstone Avenue
- Parade Route: South of Elgin Street and west of Gladstone Avenue
These parade route changes are a direct result of a decision by the Ottawa Police Service to reduce the number of staff resources available to support the safe closure of the parade route. The Ottawa Police Service and City of Ottawa informed Capital Pride of this decision on August 20 and it comes after more than 6 months of planning between Capital Pride, the City and the Ottawa Police Service.
We look forward to welcoming everyone to this year’s Pride Parade.
