DJ Roxysunset is a queer DJ from Ottawa remixing songs with a positive message. As a DJ she puts her skills to use in the Queer community by creating events & safe spaces. She created a queer event in Ottawa called Night of Lights which is a queer community drag show. You can find them Fridays at T’S and every Saturday night at the lookout dropping beats on the dance floor. In the day Roxanne works for the Mental Health commission of Canada as a Program Coordinator for Mental Health First Aide. They are also on the Affirm committee with United Church of Canada giving workshops on 2SLGTBQ+ inclusivity & faith while fighting for churches in Canada to become affirming of people of all races, genders and sexualities. They believes that knowledge is power and the more we educate the world than the more peaceful it will become and we can all unite as one.
