My name is Banshii Waylön. I was born and raised in Fitzroy Harbour (Ottawa). I first starting performing in drag in Peterborough ON., where I attended and graduated from Trent University. I first started in drag by attending open stages and amateur nights hosted by Haus of Q. Quickly I became a regular Peterborough performer and I was inducted into the Haus of Q by Sahira Q and Betty Baker. Joining this house is how I honed my talent for drag. After recently graduating from school, I moved to downtown Ottawa. Downtown is where I currently reside. I am excited to try and perform in this city because it was meant for drag. Being a political science major, I want to use drag to create positive change for queer people in the Ottawa Valley.
