The Pride Parade returns on August 24, 2025 at 1pm! Join more than 225 groups and over 11,000 community members as we take to our city’s streets. Plus, this year’s Grand Marshal and Honoured Group lead the parade.
Applications Now Open!
Thank you for your interest in the 2025 Capital Pride Parade! All groups wishing to participate in the parade are required to apply by submitting the form below. Applications will be confirmed by the Registration Team on a rolling basis within three (3) business days of submission. The deadline to apply for the 2025 Parade is Friday July 18, 2025. Any changes to your registration must be made by the registration deadline.
Applications are being reviewed for completeness and for the applying groups’ adherence to Capital Pride’s Principles of Equity and Inclusion, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions below. Please review these carefully and agree to them in the space provided. The name of the group that is filled into the “Organization/business name” field will be displayed on the 2025 Pride Parade event page at capitalpride.ca.
There is no payment due at the time of application. Once your application has been confirmed, the listed Primary Contact will receive an email with an invoice and instructions on how to complete payment. Payment can be made online via credit card with details to follow. Payment is due within seven (7) days of your application being confirmed by the Registration Team. Registrations will not be considered complete until payment has been received. Please reach out if other payment arrangements are required (including EFT). Once payment is received, no refunds will be provided.

Definitions
- Marching Contingent: Groups who plan to participate on foot or non-motorized vehicle/wheels (bicycle, roller skates, roller blades, etc.).
- Small Vehicle: 20 ft or less (eg. pick up truck, cube van).
- Large Vehicle: Any vehicle longer than 20 ft (including vehicles with trailers).
- Independent Small Businesses: Defined as a local business with up to 2 store fronts or under 50 employees.
- Commercial Large Businesses: Defined as a business with more than 2 store fronts or over 50 employees.

There will be a mandatory parade training session for all confirmed applicants on July 28, 2025. This session will be held online in the evening. More details will be provided closer to the date.
