2020 Capital Pride Pageant Presented by TD

Join us as the best drag performers in the National Capital Region compete to win the 2020 title of Mr., Ms., and Mx. Capital Pride! The mission of the Capital Pride Pageant is to foster talent within the National Capital region by selecting three representatives for the festival who have mastered their craft and are active and engaged in the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Drag performers from the National Capital Region are asked to submit a video performance to [email protected] by July 10. On July 14, the chosen semi-finalists will perform Live on Capital Pride Presents and be voted on by the National Capital Region. The top 2 voted Drag performers from each category (Mr., Ms. and Mx) will move on to the Finale and become the top 6 finalists to battle for the 2020 titles of Mr., Ms. and Mx. Capital Pride!

Queer Talent Extravaganza

Tune in virtually as we celebrate queer talent in the National Capital Region! Apply to compete by submitting a video with the theme, “Wherever We Are” by July 10. On July 16, we’ll broadcast the performances of the chosen semi-finalists, and the top three contestants will then move onto the finale and have the chance to win a cash prize! Your talent submission can include any performative artistry. All interested performers must send in an application to [email protected]

DJ Fyah Battle

DJs identifying in the QTIBOC community within the National Capital Region can submit a personal mix to [email protected] by July 10. On July 18, the chosen semi-finalists will DJ through Capital Pride Live and be voted on by the National Capital Region. The top 3 DJs with the most votes will move on to the DJ FYAH BATTLE! In the final battle, the winners will be picked by special judges as they battle for the title by creating a mix to top 3 special categories!
